September Things

EVIDENCE: Create at least one photograph that depicts evidence of your existence on this planet. Think about how the world would be different if you were not here, for instance. Or consider what elements of the world prove that you exist – an unmade bed, for example, or your breakfast dishes, text messages from your BFF, etc.

Due: Friday, September 12th (1 Image, 30 pts)

Manipulating The Face: Create a series of at least 6 portraits that are not your typical portrait. Look at examples of manipulating the face.

Studio Series:

You will be working with studio lighting and composition for this series.  You will turn in two AMAZING photographs for each theme (1. flowers or produce, 2. art supplies and 3. ink).  Remember it takes a lot more than two pictures to get two incredible pictures. A good rule of thumb is one good photograph usually comes from every 50-100 shots. (15 pts each = 90 pts)

Due: Friday, October 4th, 6 Photos

10x1

Shoot 10 unique photos of one subject. Exactly how you go about this will depend on whether your subject is capable of moving on its own, but regardless you’ll need to do some creative composing and framing.

Due: Friday, October 4th, 6 Photos
